Joyful Weaving Set

A collaboration with joyful maker, Nova Mercury (aka Jen Duffin.)

Weaving is a wonderful practice that combines both skill and technique with creativity and fun. It is also a very accessible craft, and this kit includes everything you need to begin your own weaving journey.

Jen has hand selected a beautiful fibre colour combination for you to take the guesswork out of choosing your materials. The loom and tools are her own design, and are handmade in Montreal by a small, woman-owned business.

With this loom you can make a woven wall hanging with a woven area of approximately 9” x 10” or smaller (it can be longer once you add fringe.) You can warp just a section of the loom to make smaller pieces, or you can warp the whole loom to make a larger piece.

In this kit you will receive:

-One wooden frame loom (8" x 10")
-Two wood weaving combs
-One wooden tapestry needle
-One yarn needle
-One hanger bar
-One wood dowel
-One shed stick
-One 20-page e-book with basic weaving techniques and a pattern for a woven wall hanging (sent via email)
-175g of fibre
-One bundle of cotton warp thread
